Nestled in the mountains of Northern Colorado, surrounded by beautiful evergreen forest and overlooking the peaceful waters of Crystal Lake in Red Feather Lakes, Lake View Retreat is a place to get away, relax and spend uninterrupted time doing what you love.

Whether you scrapbook, quilt, sew, make cards, paint or enjoy another craft, our spacious walkout craft room accommodates up to 10 crafters. Each crafter has a 6-foot height-adjustable table, convenient outlets and USB charging, and a comfortable heated, massaging and reclining chair.

You'll also have access to Crafter's Corner, stocked with Cricut machines, ironing boards and irons, stamps, punches, paper tools and other crafting supplies to help keep your creativity going.

When it's time for a break, head upstairs to the full kitchen, dining room and comfortable living room, or step outside onto the deck and take in the beautiful lake, forest and mountain views.

Open Crafters Retreats — Reserve your own spot and enjoy a getaway with other crafters. Everyone has their own crafting space and can spend the weekend working on whatever they love to create.

Hi! I’m Leeanne, and I’ve loved scrapbooking since 1999. It all started after I attended a Creative Memories party. At first I thought scrapbooking looked like way too much work — but once I finished my first album, I was hooked!

I soon became a Creative Memories consultant and started scrapbooking everything — first my dogs and my husband, and later our kids, family vacations, Disney trips, sports, graduations and all of the everyday memories in between. If you walk into my living room, one of the first things you’ll notice is all of my albums!

Before long, I began hosting monthly crops at my house and church. Those grew into larger events, and eventually I started organizing weekend crafting retreats. I loved bringing people together for a few days where they could leave everyday life behind, work on their projects and spend time with friends.

Over the years, I stayed at many different retreat houses. Every time I went to one, I found myself thinking about what I loved, what I would change, and what I would want if I ever had a retreat house of my own.

Then I found this place overlooking Crystal Lake in Red Feather Lakes.

It needed a lot of work, but I could see what it could become. We bought Lake View Retreat in 2018 and began transforming it into the crafting getaway I had imagined for years.

Today, Lake View Retreat is a place where crafters can relax, create, laugh with friends and enjoy the beautiful Colorado mountains and lake views — and I still love seeing people enjoy the retreat house that started as a dream.
